Previous5 of 5
Who was Mary Magdalene if she was not the penitent of later preaching? Mary Magdalene, Princess of Orange is volume 5 of the King Jesus sequence, after the trilogy and after The Grail Cypher. Ellis reads her as a queen and consort of that house, later remembered in the Orange and Provençal traditions of southern France, and as part of what he calls the richest couple in the Levant rather than a Galilean poorhouse. The identification is his reading of those traditions. It is not the church’s account, and it is not a finding of academic consensus. The book is for readers who want the sequence followed into Provence.
