His articles

In his own text

These are the articles in Ralph’s own wording, not a paraphrase. They can be read on the page, and the original PDF remains beside each one. The shorter Round Table file is the same Arthur article, not a second one. The ice-age paper stays with the journal.

  1. Eden in Egypt

In this article the river of Eden is the Nile, and the garden and the Tower of Babel are placed in Egypt rather than in Mesopotamia.

  2. Astrology in the Bible

Precessional astrology, in this reading, was once central to Judaism and to Christianity, and was later obscured in transcription.

  3. Modulation of ice ages via precessionand dust-albedo feedbacks

    2016

With Michael Palmer, in Geoscience Frontiers, vol. 7, 2016, pp. 891–909. They proposed that carbon dioxide played only a small part in temperature control, and that the main ice-age feedback was dusty ice sheets.

This is the peer-reviewed paper. Geoscience Frontiers published it after review, with Michael Palmer of the University of Waterloo. The other articles here were issued by Ellis himself.

  4. Jesus, King of Edessa

    Version 1.5a

Ellis’ article on Jesus as a king of Edessa in northern Syria, and on the gospel events falling in the AD 60s. He treats Saul as Josephus.

  5. The Huqoq Elephant Mosaic

    March 2022

Ellis’ reading of the elephant mosaic at Huqoq. He argues that the scene is a meeting in AD 65 between King Izates-Manu VI of Edessa and the high priest, not Alexander.

  6. Astrology,King Jesus and King Arthur

The Nazarene use of the zodiac, as this article reads it, survived in Arthurian legend and can be seen in the Round Table.

  7. The Round Table and the Last Supper

Drawing on the Vulgate Cycle, the article identifies Arthur’s Round Table with the table of the Last Supper.

  8. The Tomb of Alexander Discovered?

Ellis follows the funeral carriage in Diodorus and argues that a surviving artifact is the sarcophagus of Alexander.

  9. 1001 Islamic Inventions?

The science associated with the Islamic period is treated here as work already done by the Greek, Roman, and Syriac traditions in those lands.
